Pismo Beach Golf Course is a beautiful coastal venue with a surreal ocean view ceremony site and a gorgeous 4000 square foot reception/ event tent overlooking the lush greens of Pismo Beach Golf Course. In this packet you will find all you need to know about holding your wedding/ event here at Pismo Beach Golf Course. Guest Count: Our tent can accommodate up to 225 Guests. We understand when planning your wedding the head count may fluctuate; for your convince, a final head count is not due until 30 days before the event.
Event Times: Pismo Beach Golf Course is located on state property so all events must conclude by 10:00pm. For the safety of you and your guests the bar will close 30 minutes before the end of the event. Cars may not stay parked on the property after 11:00pm; a ticket will be issued by the State of California. P.B.G.C. only books one event per day; you choose the time your event starts with it concluding within a 5 hours block. If you would like to extend the time you are allotted, special arrangements may be made prior to the day of event.
Set Up & Clean Up: You and your chosen vendors may enter the property @ 7:00am on the day of the event for set up. Candles are allowed to be lit on the tables as long as they are in glass votives. The Staff of Pismo Beach Golf Course is not responsible for the lighting or maintenance of the candles. All Decorations may not damage the tent or property in any way. All repairs or replacements will be your responsibility. All property must be brought out with you the night of the event or it becomes property of Pismo Beach Golf Course. The Staff of Pismo Beach Golf Course will be responsible for trash removal & site cleanup.
Vendors: Pismo beach Golf Course does not provide any flowers, decorations, cake, DJ, transportation or photographers. A list of preferred vendors is attached for reference. Your event Vendor list is to be turned in to the Special Event Manager on the 30 day final meeting. The list must contain the business name, contact person’s name and contact phone number. It is also a good idea to give all your vendors our name, contact name of the special events manager and phone number.
Deposit: There is a $ 500.00 non-refundable deposit to save the date. Full Payment is due 30 days prior to your event.
Staff: Pismo Beach Golf Course will provide all staff for your event. A Special Event Manager will be on-site the day of your event to oversee the vendors with respect to access and set up on the property, maintain the bar, supervise catering staff, and to act as a representative for the property. The service of the Special Event Manager does not include wedding coordination. The preferred vendor list attached includes some great local wedding coordinators. Security may be required for certain events and must be provided by the hosting party. Pismo beach Golf Course will let you know if you need to provide security for your party.
Rentals: Pismo Beach Golf Course provides tables, chairs, bar, silverware, plates, salt & pepper shakers, wine glasses, champagne flutes, & white linen. Any other rentals can be rented from one of the rental companies listed on the following pages. Any equipment rented must be picked up the following morning. We do not carry slide show equipment or extra lights. If you would like to put up more lights in the tent, please contact a local lighting specialist Ken Wagner Design @ 805.878.1490. There are two restrooms located in the pro shop for the use of your guests. If you are planning on a wedding of over 175 people you may want to rent porta- potties, ask the Event Manager if you are interested.
Catering: Pismo beach Golf Course Serves a buffet style dinner with the food chosen by you from our menu. The buffet will stay out about 15 min after the last person finishes through the line. We will make sure your professional vendors are fed. Non Alcoholic beverages are included in you catering package and consist of lemonade, iced tea, coffee, & water. All Other beverages such as soda and alcohol (beer, wine, liquor, & champagne) are provided at the bar through Pismo Beach Golf Course, all priced accordingly. There is no outside alcohol allowed on the property, if found it will be confiscated and the owner will be notified.
Weather: Pismo Beach Golf Course is an outdoor venue and we cannot be responsible for any weather on the day of the event. The tent is equipped with a propane heater to keep it warm and one other heater is available if the outside night ocean air gets to cold.
Parking: All parking lots around the golf course, as well as, Le Sage Drive (directly in front of the tent) are open for your guests to park. All lots & Le sage close at 11:00pm. Pismo Beach Golf Course is not responsible for any damage or theft.
Children: Children are welcome to attend your event and they must be supervised by a parent or guardian. We do not offer any type of babysitting. If there are going to be many children attending, you may want to provide them with something to keep them occupied; coloring books, bubbles, toys, or bouncy balls. Children are priced just as an adult, yet chicken nuggets can be supplemented, with prior arrangements made.
Liability: Pismo Beach Golf Course cannot be liable for any injury, theft, car or personal property damage, parking tickets, or loses that may occur. No one under the age of 21 is permitted to drink on the property. We reserve the right to check ID’s and refuse service to anyone. A replacement fee will be charged for any and all items broken or missing.

Chairs for Ceremony Site
We have a limited number of chairs (240). We can rent the chairs NOT being used for the reception, for use at the ceremony site. If we agree to rent the leftover chairs there will be a $2.50 rental charge for each chair that is brought up to the site. You are welcome to rent chairs from an outside party, yet Pismo Beach Golf Course will not be responsible for the care, set up, or breakdown of the chairs.
